Res/Title Website Resdesign

Created a responsive website for this title insurance company.

Project Overview

summer - Fall 2019

As the solo in-house designer for a small title insurance company, my primary focus was on printed marketing materials and social media. However, my growing interest in digital design led me to propose a website refresh to the company.

I proposed to create the new website using WordPress, granting stakeholders the freedom to effortlessly update marketing content—a capability lacking in the previous site.

Website Before Redesign

I fixed the following downfalls to the old website:

  • lack of responsiveness for mobile devices

  • failure to meet accessibility and contrast requirements

  • outdated design

  • lack of ease in editing for stakeholders to update content

The Res/Title website before my redesign was not responsive.

Redesigned Website

Cleaner new design

The redesigned website increased white space, incorporated inviting images, and ensured adaptability across various screen sizes.

Results & Future Recomendations

I monitored the website using heatmaps.

“Get a quote” was the user’s top task

By creating the new website via Wordpress, we could link it to our CRM tool and monitor leads visiting the website.

From a UX perspective, I noticed most users were visiting the site to “Get a Quote” and recommended we increase the size of the button, or place this front and center (possibly over the main hero image so it was easily clickable).
